What is AdSpace?
Think of NJSBN AdSpace as virtual real estate. Through NJSBN.com, you
can find various spots where ads can be placed. Through the AdSpace
program, NJSBN members can lease these spaces for anywhere from a week
to a month, and for the duration of that time period, AdSpace will
display that NJSBN member's ad in that spot.
How much does AdSpace cost?
AdSpace has an amazingly flexible pricing system. Just like business,
competition drives the price. Starting for as little as $0.10 a day,
the highest bidder wins the lease as soon as the spot becomes available.
For example:
- If the spot is vacant, then you can lease it for a dime a day.
- If the spot is currently being leased, NJSBN members may place
bids for the spot up until 24 hours before the lease expires.
The highest bidder is then awarded the lease.
- If the current leasee wants to keep the spot for the next term
after the lease expires, then he or she must bid on it as well
but is given priority for equal bids.
How many people will see my ad?
Well, thats up to you. NJSBN's Marketing department is constantly
working to bring more and more users, customers and other small business
owners, to the site. Thanks to AdSpace, you can pick exactly where your
ad goes. The number of people who see your ad is directly related to
where you place it. AdSpace will also track how many people click on
each of your individual ads, allowing you to maximize your exposure.

How do I sign up and set up my ad?
If you haven't done so already, sign up for your MyNJSBN account. Once
logged in, you can view the list of spots and bid on your desired spot.
24 hours before the current lease expires the highest bidder is granted
the next timeslot and is notified by email. The winner must then follow
the instructions described in the email for uploading the ad and payment
through PayPal. Then, once the lease expires, NJSBN will automatically
switch over to your ad and begin the lease.
Is there a way I can expedite the process?
Yes, you can take certain steps to speed up the set up process. First,
you can start by signing up for a PayPal account beforehand. You can
also prepay NJSBN for up to $50.00 USD towards AdSpace and other
services. You can also email us your ad beforehand at adspace@njsbn.com
to get it preapproved and on the server before bidding.
I would like to advertise, but I don't have a graphical ad?
You can email NJSBN's Department of Design. They offer a wide variety
of design services for everything from online ads to various print
media.
